Dozens' Love:

....I just love the Dozens...=) Not just cuz of this, this month:...he he...okay, okay...so I'm a little biased this month, but seriously...I love the kit more and more each month! I'm always amazed at all of the little yummy odds and ends, and at how many pages I can get out of one kit!! =) So here's what I made with the April Monster kit:
(This one was inspired by the Feist song "Secret Heart"...just love it to bits! =) The lyrics are so wonderful and it totally hits home for a shy-at-first kinda girl like me...Lovely!) And then I had lotsa fun with those '80's pictures:
....so anyways, I had a fun but vital scrap-all-day yesterday! =) Can you tell?? he he...Can you also tell my fave scrappy thing to do right now is to paint the edges like that? I was also loving paint splattering; it just didn't look right is there were no splatters. I go through phases like this, I guess...Oh! And I got the lovely Dozens project kit, too...I made a little "Found Bits" holder for tickets and receipts and ephemera and things one accumulates over the year:
....It will be posted up in my Etsy shop, but I swore to myself I will not update it this month because I don't want to give myself any more work as I try to narrow the to-do list down...lol....There will be a shop update in June, and even Z has designed some stuff....so stay tuned! =) If you want a project kit, there are still a few left here.

I finished a whole whack of goodies yesterday and will try to spread out the posting over the month...so stay tuned for some Pink Paislee, Scrapmagie, and Scrapmojo goodies! Whew! The superwoman pants are on, my friends...I will get everything done this month and I'm feeling good about the start I have! =) Thanks for peeking! I haven't had a chance to do the blog rounds lately, but thanks for the love! And keep leaving comments below for a chance to win the Shabby Chic tags from Veronica! You have til Monday night, and I'm loving what everyone loves about scrapbooking! =) Happy weekend!

wow! Those layouts are unreal! My favourite is the one with you and your grandpa. The picture is so lovely. Your monster just look sooo good on all the LOs! :) They make me smile.
Share your secret.. how do you get the paint splatter look so pretty? Whenever I try, I just get one blob and that's it *sniff*. Frustrating.

I love all the monsters! I might just have to see if there are any kits left. Your layouts are all so bright and cheerful! I have a question I was wondering if you wouldn't mind answering me... exactly what white journaling pen do you use, for writing in white on your photos? I have tried a bunch, and none of them turn out as good as yours look.

Good grief! I was away from a computer for a few days and it's like your blog exploded with pictures and good news and busy-ness. How on earth do you manage soooo freakin' many creative tasks at once? Do you sneak and do math problems when no one is looking, to maintain a bit of boredom in your life? ;)

My favorite thing about scrapbooking is that it stretches me to create in ways I normally wouldn't even consider. In art school I never had a problem with stretching, but in scrapping I totally fight it. The layouts I love are full of layers and embellishments and splatters, just piles and piles of colorful pieces. But for some bizarro reason my layouts are always neatly aligned and uptight and have no heart. Blech. So I love this blog-community of ladies who create boldly, fearlessly, beautifully.

Love what you did with this month's kits! So much eye candy!

One question... The little drippy splatters... Are they done with watered down paint, ink, or maybe I'm overlooking the obvious? (Sometimes I'm a little slow... ;))

Hope May is really productive so far.
