We finally got out the other day in a rare glimpse of overcast, not-raining, sky this week...so we walked over to Stanley park: Z hunting for willow branches to start a little bonsai and me playing with my camera....I love taking flower pictures, my best girl Mandy knows this...we used to go to the zoo and take tons of flower pictures!! lol...anyways, my camera is not the bestest camera out there but it's good enough for me and I love it, and it's fun to play with the macro...=) Here are the Japanese cherry trees we learned about a few weeks ago on that cherry walk:They're still not fully bloomed, because it hasn't been sunny enough..but it's supposed to be nice tommorrow, so hopefully a picnic is in order! =) They look lovely, anyway...and there's a horse-drawn carriage that rides through the park right behind them...so cute! I had a little squirrel friend visit me while I was super-close to the gardens taking flower pictures, too..it was too funny! He got pretty close, but scooted away too quickly for me to get a shot of him...=) fun, fun...there are a few more posted up in my Flickr account, too!
Anyways, as promised, one of the cards I made using the Dozens' kit! =) It's up in my Etsy shop:
I just love that Sass paper to bits!! he he...and Etsy, for that matter...so fun! Speaking of, I have projects to get to and post offices to visit...and, now, taxes to do manually....Z has to do some other tax paperwork because he's not Canadian yet, so thank goodness we have a few weeks to get them done! =) Anyways, happy day everyone! And thanks for the sweet comments, as always!
